ADVANCED INTEGRATION & MANUFACTURING (SGAMF)

Located at the Springfield/Beckley airport (KSGH), the SelectTech GeoSpatial Advanced Manufacturing Facility (SGAMF) provides products and services that support DoD and commercial customers. SGAMF covers the complete product management cycle from idea to full scale production.

To achieve rapid, new product development, SGAMF employs these advanced manufacturing tools:

  • Front-end NPD Stage Gate (Clear production cycle definition)
  • Computer Aided Design (CAD)
  • Computer aided engineering (CAE) including 3-D virtual product graphics
  • Computer aided manufacturing (CAM) with subtractive and additive tool path
  • Computer Aided Machining (milling, turning and hot wire foam cutting)
  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for real time virtual design evaluation
  • Quick, early prototyping using 3-D printing, laser and waterjet 2-D machining
  • Lean manufacturing production design

OUR PARTNERS

SelectTech supports the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Rapid Development Integration Facility (RDIF) at Wright Patterson AFB. We are the integrator of choice tasks related to electronics, aircraft wiring and cabling, and large- scale engineering for aircraft avionics and RF systems.

We design, build, and test avionics kits and perform on-site installations on various C-130 aricraft platforms.

OUR SUPPORT

SelectTech’s AFRL customer requires specialized kits to enable the evaluation of new or modified aircraft electronics, avionics, and communications technologies. Our specialists develop and operate a Simulation Integration Laboratory (SIL) in our customer’s facility to cost-effectively evaluate and support a variety of modification and modernization efforts in an operationally relevant environment. Our customized software suite tracks and quantifies the benefits of technology insertion on legacy system performance.
