SelectTech's Massive New DoD Contract
SelectTech Services joins other firms from around the United States in a newly awarded $996M USAF contract! The contract, Special Operations Forces/Personnel Recovery & Rotary Division Multiple Award Contract for Modifications (SOF/PR & RD MACM), was awarded on 25 October 2019 by the AF Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Robins AFB, GA. This award is the result of a competitive (17 companies made offers) small business set-aside solicitation.
The contract, which was awarded initially with an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) base structure (specific, individual tasks will be funded via Delivery or Task Orders), will provide modification and sustainment support for all AF Special Operations Forces/Personnel Recovery (SOF/PR) and Rotary Division managed C-130 (fixed wing) and H-1 and H-60 (rotary wing) aircraft to include integrated weapon systems, subsystems, and support equipment associated with these special-mission aircraft. Specific requirements for each Order may include non-recurring engineering, integration, trial installations, kit-proof installations, aircraft technical data packages, technical orders, provisioning, test procedures, development of airworthiness documentation, cybersecurity documentation, and installation of aircraft modification kits. Orders may also contain interim contractor support (ICS), contractor logistics support, manufacturing, and full-rate kit production. The base contract period extends for the next three years, and two 2-year options are available to the government, meaning the total contract period of performance can be as many as seven years.
The first Order awarded on the contract allows SelectTech to participate in a contract Orientation Conference, to be held at Robins AFB, GA sometime in December 2019. SelectTech is highly confident that the team we bring to this important contract will successfully compete for the work and absolutely pay great dividends for this critical warfighting customer!
