  • LJB SelectTech GeoSpatial Partnership on US-Made UAS

    National Engineering Firm LJB Incorporated is partnering with SelectTech GeoSpatial to design and build an unmanned aerial system (UAS) for geospatial and survey activities.  

    SelectTech's expertise in rugged frame design, as well as with integrating autopilots, controllers, navigation systems, data links, software, and sensors enables LJB to further pioneer the use of UAS-assisted surveys.  "In addition to growing LJB's UAS fleet, partnering with SelectTech provides the flexibility to meet the security specifications our private, federal, state, and local clients require," said Mike Stanoikovich, LJB VP and Director of Corporate Development.

  • Nine Foot Composite Shelter Delivered

    The great team at SGAMF shipped their latest Composite Integrated Shelter System to our customer at the end of April, ahead of planned schedule.  Complete with a custom, rugged rack structure, this unit was tailored to accomodate multipe UPS units, servers, and storage, and to operate in a severe (deployed) environment.  SelectTech's custom shelters are available in a range of lengths (9 feet to 20 feet).  It's composite material build structure provides significant weight savings advantage over comparable metal shelters while maintaining impressive structural strength.  Various other features of these shelters can be viewed on our "Shelter Solutions" page on this site.  Congratulations to … more

  • Boeing Chooses SelectTech to Develop, Test, and Certify Airborne SATCOM Routers

    SelectTech Geospatial, LLC, under contract with Boeing SatCom Services, has announced the design, development, and certification of an airborne satellite router for Wideband Satellite Communications (SATCOM) for military and other government customers.

    The airborne satellite router will be offered in two certified form factors:  an ARINC 600 4MCU (WCM-5000M) and a 19"/1U rack mount (WCM-5000RU) chassis.

  • SelectTech's Massive New DoD Contract

    SelectTech Services joins other firms from around the United States in a newly awarded $996M USAF contract!  The contract, Special Operations Forces/Personnel Recovery & Rotary Division Multiple Award Contract for Modifications (SOF/PR & RD MACM), was awarded on 25 October 2019 by the AF Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Robins AFB, GA.  This award is the result of a competitive (17 companies made offers) small business set-aside solicitation.

  • SelectTech Hosts a DHS/USAFA Summer Intern

    Since 2007, the Department of Homeland Security and the US Air Force Academy have championed game-changing innovations for the US Government by leveraging unique public-private partnerships.  The value of these partnerships allows the government to see into the future of market-shaping research techologies and for private companies like SelectTech to gain insight into the tech needs of the government.  It's also a great opportunity for USAFA cadets to work with companies like SelectTech who are supporting the DoD, other government agencies, and their industry partners every day!   • Ohio Governor Names SelectTech CEO to JobsOhio Board

    Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has named new board members for JobsOhio, the states private economic development arrm.  Among the new board members is SelectTech's own President and CEO, Scott Sullivan!  Scotts term will run from 6 July 2019 through 5 July 2023.  J. P.   • SelectTech Selected to Develop ROCC for AFLCMC

     

    On June 14, 2019, the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Mobility Directorate (C-17 System Program Office) at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH, awarded SelectTech Services a new $5.5M contract for the base (development) period of the Roll-On Conference Capsule (ROCC) Program.

    This initial award will complete the design, development, fabrication, integration, test, and certification of a "First Article" ROCC.  The ROCC is configured as a two-module USAF command and control capability that will be loaded into the cargo compartment of the C-17A Globemaster III for transport of, and use by, personnel during flight operations.  The ROCC will be certified to permit occupancy and use … more

      On June 26, 2019, the Air Force Research Laboratory's Sensors Directorate (AFRL/RY) renewed SelectTech Service's Sensor Communications & Connectivity Support contract for a period of up to two and one half years.  This $7M contract provides AFRL/RY scientists and engineers with design, fabrication, modification, integration, bench test, flight test, field support, demonstrations, facility upgrades, system maintenance and calibration, experimental development, data processing and analysis, system analysis, and specialized services for the Steel Eagle Communications Module, the Silver Bullet Roll-on/Roll-off (RO/RO) Conference Capsule, and the Viper Satellite Communications System at … more

  • AF LCMC Program Management Academy Visits SelectTech GeoSpatial

        

    On 16 April, 2019, twenty-nine USAF civil service and military officer trainees from the AF Life Cycle Management Center's (LCMC) Program Management Academy visited the SelectTech GeoSpatial Advanced Manufacturing Facility (SGAMF) in Springfield, OH.  The purpose of their visit was to give these current and future acquisition leaders a glimpse into operations at a small business that's successfully providing a range of products and services to the government and government prime contractors.  The Program Management Academy, whose reporting chain is through the AF LCMC's Acquisition Excellence Director, has been arranging a number of these visits in the Dayton/Wright-Patterson AFB … more
